Virtual Tank Monitoring

Virtual Tank Monitoring can be enabled and configured on both new and existing devices.

For best results, ensure you specify the correct Tank Capacity.

Fuel Lock App

  1. Login to the Fuel Lock App
  2. Go to Settings > Devices > Edit
  3. Select Tank Configuration
  4. Select Edit Virtual Tank Monitoring
  5. Use the toggle to enable/disable Virtual Tank Monitoring
  6. Adjust the slider to specify current tank level (%)
  7. Select Save Changes
  8. Sync your device by pressing * then ### on the keypad
    1. Note that Fuel Lock is configured to automatically sync every six hours

Web Dashboard

  1. Login to Fuel Lock Web Dashboard
  2. Go to Settings on the left navigation menu
  3. Select Device > Tank Configuration
  4. Select the pencil icon on the tank to configure Virtual Tank Monitoring for
  5. Go to the VIRTUAL TANK MONITORING tab
  6. Use the toggle to enable/disable Virtual Tank Monitoring
  7. Adjust the slider to specify current tank level (%)
  8. Click Update
  9. Sync your device by pressing * then ### on the keypad
    1. Note that Fuel Lock is configured to automatically sync every six hours

On Fuel Lock Device

Once you have enabled Virtual Tank Monitoring on the Fuel Lock app or Web Dashboard, check the tanks’ levels by pressing # while on the lock screen.
